What steps do you take to establish a rapport with your class? Can you give me a recent example?

Describe a time when you took extra effort to make sure the person with whom you were communicating with had really understood your point. How did you do this?

Give me an example of a time when you had to put forward an unpopular point of view to your class. How did you handle the negative reaction? What did you learn from the experience?

Tell me about a situation or situations that might demonstrate your confidence to do this job?

Describe a major obstacle you have overcome to reach your present position.

Tell me about an emotionally charged seminar  which you did not handle very well? Why was that? What lessons did you learn?

Tell me about a time in seminar when you sensed that a student was feeling annoyed or upset. What did you do to address the issue?

Tell me about a time when you lost your cool in class. Is this a common occurrence?

Tell me about a time when a participant  criticized you strongly. Afterwards, what kind of relationship did you develop with this person?

How do you keep participants  involved and motivated, while keeping morale high? What steps do you need to take to achieve this?

Tell me about the last seminar you attended? How did you apply this new knowledge towards your class work?

In which specific areas of your subject are you really interested in expanding your knowledge of? How do you intend to achieve this?

Tell me about a time you felt a student was not progressing very well in your class. What course of action did you take?

Has there been a situation at the work place that you have observed a potential safety risk that no one else appears to have considered? If so, what steps did you undertake to rectify the situation?

Tell me about a time when it was necessary for you to communicate technical information, clearly, to a student. Did you find it difficult?

Describe to us the extent of your knowledge of Internet technologies, in particular emailing and the World Wide Web. Do you use these technologies most days?

Tell me about the last time you updated your skills on your own initiative? What plans have you in the near future to undertake extra technical training?
